My Top 3 Eyeshadow Palettes!

Being a makeup addict, it is only natural that I am completely obsessed with eyeshadow palettes. Well, really and truly, not just eyeshadow palettes - ANY type of palette (but we'll get to that some other time).

Picking up single eyeshadows has become very rare for me as having a number of different complementing shades in one palette makes doing your makeup so much more convenient!

All my palettes contain similar shades (the bronze's, the nude's, the rusty colours), but nonetheless,  I managed to narrow them down to my favourite (& definitely most used) three!

Call me boring but yes, 2 of the 3 are Urban Decay - Naked palettes (they're just so good!!) & 1 is a gorgeous Charlotte Tilbury palette. I picked these 3 because they contain eyeshadows that will work for any eye colour, and can be used for both natural looks and extremely glamorous makeup. I simply love 'em and use them so so often!!

New York City: Best Dessert Places!

Hello everybody :)!

I have recently returned from an amazing trip to NYC - the famous Big Apple - and all I can say is that I have fallen madly in love with this beautiful city.

Being a food lover, the first thing I did was ask friends for some recommendations on cute cafe's worth visiting. I wasn't looking for the touristy places - I was looking for those places that the locals consider to be the best in the city. I was looking for some desserts to blow my mind!

And my, oh my, did I find the best dessert places!! From the best cookie in the city, to divine ice-cream, let's just say that I was one happy (and full!) girl on this trip!

1. Levain Bakery - Located in the Upper Westside, this tiny bakery is not even big enough to fit a handful of people at once. When my taxi pulled up beside it, the queue to the door was stretching around the block! But trust me when I say the wait was completely worth it. I got the Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookie and it was the best cookie I have ever tasted in my whole life. The outer layer of the cookie was perfectly crunchy, whilst the centre was so soft and the chocolate was melted. Just thinking about it now is making my mouth water. A must go-to.. and if there's a queue when you get there.. wait it out!

2. Doughnuttery - I discovered this gem in Chelsea Market and ordered a few mini donuts. I can safely say these were the best donuts I have come across. They were perfectly fluffy and oh so heavenly!! The selection at this place is incredible too, including donuts of Peanut Butter & Jelly, Pumpkin Pie Brûlée amongst loads more. If you're a donut lover - try this place out.. I promise you won't be disappointed!

3. Dominique Ansel's Bakery- I was sent here specifically for the famous cronut which unfortunately were out of stock :( But something else caught my eye - this gorgeous cookie shot. Yes, that's right. It's a shot - where the glass is made out of cookie, and it's filled with milk!! How perfect does that sound?! And it was honestly so delicious. The warm milk was poured as soon as served, melting the layer of chocolate inside the cookie shot. I was in cookie heaven <3 font="" nbsp="">

I hope these recommendations were helpful! Of course, there are so many more dessert shops that I didn't have time to try! What are your favourite cafe's in NYC?

Hello Autumn.

My favourite time of the year is back. When leaves start to fall, jumpers are pulled on, and we can start making hot chocolate again. Despite my true love for the summer months - be it 3 months of holidays and relaxation, I really really do love the autumn feel.

However, when Autumn commences, routine does to. University (or school or work) start again, lessons resume & that tiresome feeling of repetition falls back into place.

This year, I've established a few ways to look forward to the repetition, and even, take advantage of it:

1. Buy a diary --> A pretty Lily Pulitzer one, or even a plain 2015/2016 one you find in any stationary. Use the diary to plan your days out, week by week. The good thing of having a routine, is knowing your free time, and then using that free time to its full potential. I like to plan workout lessons or shopping trips in that time to lift my spirits amidst lectures & lessons that I don't particularly enjoy.

2. Relax --> Take time to relax  - be it by having a long bath before bed, or by taking time to read a book. Having University lectures takes up a huge portion of my day, but in between (or after) I like to switch the world off, and have some me time.

3. Series --> If you're like me, and love watching series, be it Modern Family, Scandal, Pretty Little Liars or the classic Friends, autumn months are the perfect time to get back into them. Lots of series commence now, which means that new episodes are available weekly & that really gives me something to look forward to.. especially when you spend a week wondering who the heck killed your favourite character!!

What do you look forward to about the Autumn months?
