Last Minute Gift Guide For Her: Christmas 2015

The holidays are just round the corner: Christmas trees are up, carols are being sung, and the present shopping has commenced.

But, if any of you are anything like I am, the majority of the gifts I have to buy are left till the very last minute. Mostly because I'm busy writing my thesis, but also because I like to search and search for the perfect gift for my loved ones (which, believe me, is hardly ever easy to find).

I've decided to compile a few things that in my opinion would make perfect Christmas gifts, be it for a best friend, mother, sister, girlfriend, or just something small for a coworker.

So, here they are: My last minute gift guide for her:

(Price low - high)

Jewellery box

Every girl needs a place to store her jewellery. I love the gold detail on this. A perfect little gift that any girl would love.

Best thing about this - You can personalise it!! This mug would make a perfect small gift for someone who loves drinking tea/coffee. And who doesn't love anything of Mr. Men & Little Miss!

  • £35.00

I love this brand as the quality of their things is great! This leather make up bag is a perfect size to travel with, or even to keep in a handbag. I love the colour too!

  • £38.00

The new Urban Decay Palette is wonderful. With shades to create a beautiful smokey eye, or even the perfect shades to wear a more neutral eye, I love this palette! For the same price, you could also check out the other Naked palettes by Urban Decay.

Diptyque Candle
  • £40.00

If she's a girl who loves candles or loves decorating her home/room, Diptyque candles are wonderful. They look pretty and smell divine.

 Jo Malone Fragrance

  • £85.00

Jo Malone fragrances are lovely - they have a wide variety of scents ranging from musky to more fresh and floral. The packaging of Jo Malone is absolutely dreamy too - a perfect gift.

Yves Saint Laurent Bag
  • £950.00

I am obsessed with this small, black, leather cross body bag. If you're looking to really spoil someone - these bags are perfect. Smart, classic black bag with a gorgeous gold chain for the stylish twist.

I hope you like these gift ideas and that they inspired you with some gift ideas for any last minute Christmas gifts!

My Top 3 Eyeshadow Palettes!

Being a makeup addict, it is only natural that I am completely obsessed with eyeshadow palettes. Well, really and truly, not just eyeshadow palettes - ANY type of palette (but we'll get to that some other time).

Picking up single eyeshadows has become very rare for me as having a number of different complementing shades in one palette makes doing your makeup so much more convenient!

All my palettes contain similar shades (the bronze's, the nude's, the rusty colours), but nonetheless,  I managed to narrow them down to my favourite (& definitely most used) three!

Call me boring but yes, 2 of the 3 are Urban Decay - Naked palettes (they're just so good!!) & 1 is a gorgeous Charlotte Tilbury palette. I picked these 3 because they contain eyeshadows that will work for any eye colour, and can be used for both natural looks and extremely glamorous makeup. I simply love 'em and use them so so often!!

New York City: Best Dessert Places!

Hello everybody :)!

I have recently returned from an amazing trip to NYC - the famous Big Apple - and all I can say is that I have fallen madly in love with this beautiful city.

Being a food lover, the first thing I did was ask friends for some recommendations on cute cafe's worth visiting. I wasn't looking for the touristy places - I was looking for those places that the locals consider to be the best in the city. I was looking for some desserts to blow my mind!

And my, oh my, did I find the best dessert places!! From the best cookie in the city, to divine ice-cream, let's just say that I was one happy (and full!) girl on this trip!

1. Levain Bakery - Located in the Upper Westside, this tiny bakery is not even big enough to fit a handful of people at once. When my taxi pulled up beside it, the queue to the door was stretching around the block! But trust me when I say the wait was completely worth it. I got the Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookie and it was the best cookie I have ever tasted in my whole life. The outer layer of the cookie was perfectly crunchy, whilst the centre was so soft and the chocolate was melted. Just thinking about it now is making my mouth water. A must go-to.. and if there's a queue when you get there.. wait it out!

2. Doughnuttery - I discovered this gem in Chelsea Market and ordered a few mini donuts. I can safely say these were the best donuts I have come across. They were perfectly fluffy and oh so heavenly!! The selection at this place is incredible too, including donuts of Peanut Butter & Jelly, Pumpkin Pie Brûlée amongst loads more. If you're a donut lover - try this place out.. I promise you won't be disappointed!

3. Dominique Ansel's Bakery- I was sent here specifically for the famous cronut which unfortunately were out of stock :( But something else caught my eye - this gorgeous cookie shot. Yes, that's right. It's a shot - where the glass is made out of cookie, and it's filled with milk!! How perfect does that sound?! And it was honestly so delicious. The warm milk was poured as soon as served, melting the layer of chocolate inside the cookie shot. I was in cookie heaven <3 font="" nbsp="">

I hope these recommendations were helpful! Of course, there are so many more dessert shops that I didn't have time to try! What are your favourite cafe's in NYC?

Hello Autumn.

My favourite time of the year is back. When leaves start to fall, jumpers are pulled on, and we can start making hot chocolate again. Despite my true love for the summer months - be it 3 months of holidays and relaxation, I really really do love the autumn feel.

However, when Autumn commences, routine does to. University (or school or work) start again, lessons resume & that tiresome feeling of repetition falls back into place.

This year, I've established a few ways to look forward to the repetition, and even, take advantage of it:

1. Buy a diary --> A pretty Lily Pulitzer one, or even a plain 2015/2016 one you find in any stationary. Use the diary to plan your days out, week by week. The good thing of having a routine, is knowing your free time, and then using that free time to its full potential. I like to plan workout lessons or shopping trips in that time to lift my spirits amidst lectures & lessons that I don't particularly enjoy.

2. Relax --> Take time to relax  - be it by having a long bath before bed, or by taking time to read a book. Having University lectures takes up a huge portion of my day, but in between (or after) I like to switch the world off, and have some me time.

3. Series --> If you're like me, and love watching series, be it Modern Family, Scandal, Pretty Little Liars or the classic Friends, autumn months are the perfect time to get back into them. Lots of series commence now, which means that new episodes are available weekly & that really gives me something to look forward to.. especially when you spend a week wondering who the heck killed your favourite character!!

What do you look forward to about the Autumn months?

The Perfect Nude Lip

Being a girl who loves wearing a bold lip, finding a nude that I actually loved has been a difficult journey. I've tried all different shades, of all different brands, and just couldn't find one that complemented my skin colour. It always seemed like a nude lip and I were never meant to be - so whenever I just wanted a neutral lip colour, I would just slab on some lip balm and be done with it.

But this has changed thanks to my discovery of Mac's beautiful shade - Velvet Teddy. This colour is just the perfect nude colour, with enough brown undertone to give the lip some deep colour, but topped with a gorgeous pink tone to made it the most natural of shades.

Along with this lipstick, I use the lipliner 'Soar' by Mac, which also is a beautiful neutral shade. It's that slightly bit darker than the lipstick but it ends up blending together perfectly, and leaves an almost shadow around your lips, making your lips look that little bit more plump (and if your lips are thin like mine are, it's definitely something you want!).

Overall, I am super excited with this new find and can finally say I've discovered the perfect nude lip for myself, and for many others. The great thing about this lipstick is that it suits EVERY skin tone, as it would complement a pale skin tone due to the brown undertone, but also accentuates an olive skin tone due to the pink undertone.

Do you have a perfect nude shade?

Completing Your Goals

And so, the last month of summer begins.

There's something about the month of September that I just love. Perhaps it's the fact that I know the winter months are soon approaching, and along with the winter months comes my favourite period - Christmas.

But apart from that, September makes me feel hopeful in completing all the things I had planned for the summer. All those evening beach walks, ice-cream dates and seaside days suddenly need to be crammed into one month.

All my goals for the summer suddenly need to be completed (and that's scary when in reality, I'm so far from completing the majority of them). My main goal for this summer was working loads on my blog by updating it continuously - but unfortunately, that didn't go to plan since work/holidays just got in the way :(

I'm taking this last month to focus on my goals and hopefully still have them completed by the end of summer!

What were your goals for this summer?

Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm: Review

Hi everybody :)

So today I'm going to speak about a product that has changed my life: The Nuxe Reve De Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm!

I first heard about this lip balm through other bloggers who raved about it, so thought I had to give it a go! My lips are always on the drier side, so I've always been on the hunt for a perfect, moisturising lip balm since Vaseline, Carmex and others of the like never quite got the job done!

Not only does it nourish and hydrate the lips, but it applies extremely easily! The product is quite thick so a little takes you a long way. The aroma is gorgeous too - a beautiful honey scent!

I also love it because I can apply it right before applying lipstick, and my lips won't be too slippery! Once you apply it, the finish is relatively matte, so you could also apply matte lipstick over the top and won't have a problem with the finish!

The lip balm comes in a small glass jar, which makes it look so smart. This only serves as a problem when you come to take it around in your handbag as it's quite heavy! The jar is pretty big too, so you get a large amount of product!

The product is a bit pricey, but if you have dry lips and are looking for a really great product, this is worth every cent.

Basically, I adore this product and will definitely repurchase when it runs out! But honestly, that won't be for a while because I've been using it for around 7 months and have A LOT of product left!

What's the best lip balm you've ever used?

Letting Go of the Past

I saw this picture a few days ago, and felt like it really spoke to me. Letting go of the past can be a difficult task, especially if you're like me: sensitive and an over thinker.

We've all gone through our rough patches, but it's so important to look ahead instead of looking back, because sometimes, focusing on the past could hinder a better future.

So, here are some tips about how to let go of the past, and focus on the present & future:

1. Close chapters - It's so important to make a decision and not look back on it. Looking back and doubting your decision will leave you in a limbo stage, making it hard to focus on what's to come.

2. Focus on your aim - Every morning, start the day with a fresh mindset, always with your ultimate goal in mind. That will help you forget the things that are not important, and focus on what is!

Favourites: Eye Makeup Products

Recently, I've noticed that when it comes to doing my eye makeup, I'm constantly reaching for the exact same products, over and over again.

One reason is due to the fact that it's summer, and it's boiling, and these products last so long, despite the heat. But, it's also due to the fact that I am in LOVE with everything about these products - the pigmentation, the packaging and just the overall look they create!

Although when it comes to doing evening makeup, I like to take my time and put more effort into my eye makeup, when it comes to a quick day time look, these 3 products are definitely all I need. These products are:

  1. The Maybelline EyeStudio Color Tattoo 24hr Eyeshadow in On and On Bronze
  2. The Kat Von D Tattoo Liner
  3. The Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
Maybelling EyeStudio Color Tattoo 24hr Eyeshadow in On and On Bronze
This product is simply amazing. I have used it literally every single day since I got it, either as a base colour, or as my whole lid colour if I'm going for a casual look. This is a cream eyeshadow, that I find is best applied using your fingers. I simply apply some of the product from the eyeshadow onto my lid, and blend it out using my fingers.
The pigmentation of the product is very intense - a small amount goes a long way! but you can build up on the colour very easily. For an evening look, I like to use this product as my base colour, and then go into the crease with a slightly darker shadow to give a more evening, glamorous look!

The product is also extremely long-lasting and does not budge once it's dried on the lid. I've worn this for whole days out and when I come home, it looks just as good as it did when I first applied it! I personally have found no need for an eyeshadow primer when using this product, as it acts like a primer in itself!

Favourite Kendall Jenner Outfits - Cannes 2015

So, I have to admit. I am a HUGE Kendall Jenner fan. I love her style and I just think she is so effortlessly beautiful. At Cannes Film Festival, there were 2 outfits that took my breath away! Both were stunning, and she pulled them off so well! Oh, how I wish I owned such gorgeous gowns.

The first was a Calvin Klein Collection dress that Kendall wore to the amFAR Gala. This dress was so beautiful - it flowed so perfectly and left a trail of fabric behind her everywhere she walked. I thought the colour was such a perfect summery colour. Her hairstyle suited the dress so perfectly - a relaxed half-up half-down style, that showed the details of the strappy back of her dress, whilst at the same time making the look just a little more elegant. The makeup chosen was leaning towards a natural look, with a nude coloured lipstick which was well suited to the bold coloured dress. Jewellery was kept to a minimal too as Kendall simply wore silver hoop earrings.

My Top 3 MAC Lipsticks

Something you should know about me is that I am a huge MAC makeup fan. I am literally obsessed with everything MAC - the eyeshadows, the bronzers, the brushes. But most especially, the lipsticks. The pigmentation, colour range and texture of the lipsticks is just brilliant.

Trying to choose my top 3 favourite lipsticks was a difficult task because I simply love every colour I buy. However, after narrowing it down, I came to the conclusion that these are my top 3 most used mac lipsticks - and I find myself reaching back for them all the time.

1. ANGEL - This is a beautiful light pink shade that I often use when I go for a bold eye makeup look. It applies so easily, and you can build up the colour as much as you like, depending on how pink you would actually like your lips to be.

2. DIVA - This is a dark red/wine sort of colour. It's a matte lipstick so it lasts extremely long, however I like to wear some lip balm underneath, just so it will apply a little easier. This colour looks so beautiful with a champagne/gold eyeshadow look.

3. REBEL - This has to be my No.1 favourite lipstick of all time. It's a beautiful purple shade with just a hint of pink to it and it really is the most beautiful lip colour for a bold lip. I like to wear this shade in the day time because the undertones really come through.

What are your favourite MAC lipstick colours?

One Line A Day Journal

Have you ever stumbled upon one of your old diaries and just loved reading it through?

As a child, and as a teenager, I used to LOVE keeping diaries and writing every little detail about my day. However as I grew up, I didn't see the use and therefore just stopped writing. I recently came across one of my old diaries and I enjoyed reading through it so much, to see what the younger version of myself did everyday and the thoughts that crossed my mind.

That got me thinking that I really need to start writing again. But knowing myself well enough, I'll be hooked on writing for a couple of weeks and eventually forget to continue. I was about to buy a diary to try it out nonetheless, but thankfully stumbled upon this.

The 'One Line a Day' journal. The idea is that you basically write one line (or in my case a couple of lines) everyday for 5 years that will sum up your day. In this way, writing in the journal only takes a couple of minutes and yet, I'm still jotting down thoughts and events that are eventually going to become beautiful memories.

For all of you who enjoy writing every so often, and who, like me, would love to keep memories for as long as possible, this journal is PERFECT. I've also slipped a few polaroid pictures and plane tickets in there, just to remind myself of more lovely adventures I've embarked upon.

Do any of you still keep a diary?

Zoeva Rose Gold Makeup Brushes

I have one word for Zoeva makeup brushes - GORGEOUS. From the packaging to the quality, everything about these brushes is simply amazing.
I had wanted to try these brushes for quite a while, after hearing so many great reviews. You get 8 brushes in total, and so far, I've got a lot of use out of every one. The brushes are soft, feel so luxurious and apply make up so well. Also, these brushes, being rose gold, look so beautiful on my dressing table. They come in a little brown leather pouch, which looks stunning and is really useful to carry the brushes (or anything else) around with you.
My favourite brush is definitely the 227, which is the Luxe Soft Definer brush. It blends eyeshadow on the lid very well, and is soft to the touch. This one is very similar to the Mac 217 and in my opinion, gets the job done just as well.
I also really love the 127 brush, which is the Luxe Sheer Cheek brush. I find that the angled shape makes it so easy to apply both blusher as well as bronzer. Again, this brush is so soft and feels luxurious on the skin. It picks up product well, and blends evenly too.
All of the other brushes are great too and since I got them, I haven't used anything else. The quality of the brushes is fantastic, and are so easy to work with. They're affordable too (€65).
Have you tried Zoeva makeup brushes?

My March Resolutions

Hi everybody :)

Sorry I haven't written in a while. I've just been so busy with University and assignments lately that I had to delay posting another blog.

So, March is here. The 3rd month. Meaning we're a quarter of the way in to the year 2015. Wow.

I know most people make their resolutions on New Year's day so that they can start the year afresh. I did too, and some of those resolutions included travelling more, cutting my hair short and most importantly, starting this blog. I'm trying to keep to those and sincerely hope that on the 1st January 2016 I would feel accomplished in those areas.

However, a couple of days ago, whilst doing some work and feeling super stressed, I thought that I was going to have to make a few more resolutions for the month of March. These resolutions, more than actual goals, are more like ways to relax myself and not let stress take over.  So here they are:

1. Give more importance to the people in your life that mean a lot to you: Instead of just texting my best friends, or locking myself in my room at home, I really find that spending time with the people that you love can help you feel better.

2. Spend more time doing what you love: As much as I enjoy studying, and I'm looking forward to graduating as a lawyer, there are just so many other things that I love doing. Instead of spending the majority of my time focusing on my studies, I think it would be helpful to divide the time between studying and doing the things I love (such as writing more blog posts)

3. Find the silver lining: When things get a bit tough, it's often hard to find the good in it and often, I feel like I'm on the verge of giving up. Lately, however, I've felt that if I try to find the silver lining to my grey cloud, i.e. if I manage to focus on the good part of whatever I'm doing, then that might be the push I need to hang in there and not give up.

I've actually found that these tips have helped me in the past, so this month I'm really going to try focus on them. If any one else is feeling stressed out, or may sometimes feel stressed with work/school or anything else, try apply these and see how they work out for you.

5 things to do in Paris

So, last summer my boyfriend and I decided to take a trip to Paris and oh wow, it was the most amazing holiday! I’m normally used to travelling with family so this was really one of the first times I had to plan a trip myself, and decide what we were going to do.

Paris was lovely and I can easily say that it’s one of the most beautiful cities I have ever visited. Every street looked like something out of a movie. I loved every second of this trip, but I would have to say there were certain parts of the trip that just left me breathless.

Here’s a list of 5 things you should DEFINITELY do if you’re visiting Paris:

1. The Eiffel Tower - This is an obvious one but just seeing the Eiffel Tower in front of me left me speechless. It’s so beautiful, and it’s also great if you manage to go up to the top and see all Paris below you. At night, the Eiffel tower lights up and it’s absolutely gorgeous to see and really romantic too.

2. Champs d’Elysee – Despite the gorgeous shops on this street, I loved strolling down champs d’elysee and taking in Parisian life. We stopped at La Laduree for a coffee and a few macaroons and it was the prettiest little café – I definitely recommend stopping there.

3. Disneyland Paris – I’m 20 years old but still have the mentality of a 5 year old because visiting Disney again was a DREAM! I must have been more excited than half the children there. If you’re a Disney fan like myself, and just enjoy fun rides, it’s definitely worth going to Disney for a couple of days if you’re in Paris

4. Pont des Arts – This is a bridge over the Siene River filled with padlocks and it’s so lovely. My boyfriend and I bought a padlock, engraved our initials and locked it on the bridge and we then threw the keys into the river. It was a really great, romantic moment!

5. La Gallarie Lafayette – I’ve been to so many department stores in many different places, but nothing compares to this one. Even though it’s not as big as some other department stores, it is breathtakingly beautiful. The shopping is amazing too with many high end brands being sold here. The area in which it is situated, which is near the Opera house is lovely too. Definitely worth visiting.

I would love to go back to Paris because there’s so much to see and I just adored every second of this holiday. These were my top 5 visits, however going to see the Louvre, the Notre Dame, going wine tasting and even walking along Saint Germain were amazing too and I definitely recommend trying to fit these in if you’ve got some extra time in Paris!

What are your favourite things about Paris?

Charlotte Tilbury Makeup Review

Ok. Charlotte Tilbury makeup – WOW. Just, wow. From the packaging to the pigments, these products are flawless, and I am officially obsessed.

So far, I’ve only managed to pick up 4 of these wonderful products; The Filmstar Bronze & Glow, the Dolce Vita Luxury eyeshadow palette & 2 lipsticks -  one from the K.I.S.S.I.N.G range, 'Night Crimson' and one from the matte range, 'Glastonberry'.

I'm so happy with all of these products and I've used them so much since I got them!

The Filmstar Bronze and Glow:
This is definitely the most amazing product I’ve purchased in a long time. I’ve been wearing it non-stop since and I love it!

To begin with, the rose gold packaging is SO lovely and there’s also a mirror in there which is really handy.

The bronzer is beautiful –it’s a beautiful warm shade that makes it great for contouring. The highlighter is a gorgeous champagne shade, and I like to dab this on to the top of my cheekbone area to give that beautiful highlighted effect.

The Dolce Vita Eyeshadow Palette:
This is quite a versatile palette and I find that I can do a lot of different makeup looks using these colours. This palette includes:
Top Left - A pale champagne shade
Top Right - A deep burgundy shade
Bottom Left - A glittery copper shade
Bottom Right - A khaki brown shade

Apart from the glitter shade, which is better applied using your finger, the other shades are extremely smooth and pigmented and just so easy to blend. I find that they last long, and look great on the lid. I really like to use the pale champagne shade as my base, and then play around with the burgundy and khaki brown in my crease. If it's an evening look I'm going for, I usually dab the glittery copper shade onto my lid, focusing it more on the outer part to give the final look a more special touch.

Glastonberry Lipstick:
This is a deep berry shade, perfect for Winter time. I love wearing this with minimal eye makeup to make the lips really stand out.

This is part of her matte revolution range, and for a matte lipstick, this is so easy to apply and actually quite moisturizing on the lip. However, once it’s on, I found that it really stays on for a while.

The shape of the bullet, which is angled, makes it so easy to apply. With the pointed edges I like to fill in the parts of my lips which I mostly need to shape, and then with the flat part, I fill in the rest of my lips.

A huge thumbs up for this shade – one of the best lipsticks I own.

Night Crimson Lipstick:
The formula of the K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipsticks is great! A very smooth and creamy texture which is moisturising on the lips. The shape of the bullet makes it really easy to apply this, and the colour holds for a long time.

This lipstick in particular is is a deep red/purple colour and is beautiful for a night out if you’re looking for a bold lip. I've worn this both with little eye make up and with a lot of eye make up, and it suits both looks!

I would have to admit that I prefer the Matte Revolution lipsticks to the K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipsticks, but that's just because I prefer generally prefer a matte finish on my lips.

Overall, I am OBSESSED with Charlotte Tilbury makeup! I'm dying to try out more of her products as I'm sure I'll be just as pleased as I am with these.

What Charlotte Tilbury products do you recommend?

Liebster Award

Hi everybody :)

I’m so thrilled to have been nominated for the Liebster Award three times! I've been nominated by the lovely Robin, Ana & Greta! Thank you all so much :)

Basically, this award helps new bloggers like myself gain some more recognition, and it also helps you guys get to know me better by my answers to the questions :)

So, these are the rules:
- Thank the blogger who nominated you, including their blog link
- Answer the 11 questions the blogger gave you
- Nominate 11 new bloggers who have less than 200 followers & include their links
- Notify the bloggers that you have selected
- Create 11 new questions for them to answer

So, I'm going to be answering Ana's questions:

1. Why did you start your blog?
I've always been obsessed with fashion & beauty, and I also love writing. So, recently I decided to start a blog and I really love the fact that I can express myself and my opinions on this platform, and have people interested in the same things as I am read the blogs, and comment with their opinions! I think its great and I'm loving it so far :)

2. What is your favourite quote?

“I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together” - Marilyn Monroe

3. If you have one, who is your celebrity crush?
Hmm.. this is a tricky one! I would have to say Ed Westwick (AKA Chuck Bass on Gossip Girl). Oh, and Ryan Reynolds (I know I was only meant to mention 1, but it's so hard!!)

4. What is your dream job?
I guess my dream job would involve something to do with fashion/beauty & travel. So, maybe a full time blogger, or something to do with a magazine or so :)

5. Where do you want to travel to most?
For a while now, its been my dream to travel to New York City. I would also love to travel to Thailand! Check out my previous blogpost about places on my travel to-do list :)

6. Are you more of a shoe person or bag person?
Definitely more of a bag person! I just feel like you can never have enough bags, and they make a great accessory to any outfit!

7. What are your hobbies?
My hobbies include travelling, reading, shopping & eating (that is a hobby, right?)

8. What is your favourite film?
My favourite film is The Holiday. It includes some of my favourite actors, including Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet & Jude Law! I love this film!

9. Do you have any pets?
I have a dog, and 4 cats! I'm an animal lover so I'm totally obsessed with them hehe :)

10. What is the one thing you could not live without?
This would have to be my mobile phone! I'm always on it, be it for messages, calls or music!

11. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Blogging, definitely! I love just sitting down with my laptop and a cup of tea, and writing a new blog post :)

So, I nominate:

My questions are:
1. Why did you start blogging?
2. What is your staple beauty product?
3. Who is/are your fashion icon/s?
4. What is your favourite quote?
5. What do you carry in your makeup bag?
6. Who is your favourite Disney Character?
7. Whats your dream job?
8. Where do you wish to travel to?
9. Describe yourself in 3 words
10. What’s your favourite song?
11. Do you have any pets?

I hope you all enjoy answering the questions as much as I did :)

My Lazy Sunday Routine

After a busy month of studying and exams, I just really needed a day to myself. A day to unwind and relax. I love these kinds of days – especially in Winter, when its cold and it just feels amazing to be inside, feeling warm beside the header with a large cup of tea wearing a massive cosy jumper!
So, apart from trying to catch up on YouTube videos and series that I’ve missed in the last past few days, whilst also trying to read some blogs, there are a few things that I find REALLY relax me:

1. Bubble bathsThere is nothing better than a warm bath in winter – seriously. It’s a great way to help your muscles relax and if it helps, put some classical music (or any soft music for that matter) on in the background & just let go.

2. CandlesThis is literally the first thing I do when I sit down at my desk. I love having a lit candle beside me – it makes me feel so much more relaxed! I personally adore Yankee Candles, most specifically the scents Midsummers Night, and Midnight Jasmine. If you have a little more to spend on a candle, the Jo Malone candles and the Diptyque candles are simply amazing

3. Planning out my weekWith a super chilled song playlist playing in the background, I like to sit down with my diary and plan my week out. Feeling organised helps me feel calmer and by planning ahead, I know that I won’t be forgetting anything important to do that week

What do you like to do to relax on a Sunday?

I hope you all had a great weekend!
